I've seen the show 2 or 3 times and I really like it. I never knew so many cities had tunnels and shit under them

Yes, interesting. Our modern cities have traditionally been built upon older settlements so it stands to reason that beneath the streets there would be signs of the older city. Unfortunately, this makes it virtually impossible to fully excavate the sites. Take Rome or Athens, for instance. Who knows what treasures remain buried under thousands of years of civilization.
