I was taught to shoot by my father and grandfather both of them would be turning in their graves if they thought I had shot at an animal and not killed it outright I have not always killed first shot but I would track an animal for as long as it took to put it out of its misery I would never let it wander off injured.
How wide spread is rabies in the USA and does the goverment take it seriously.The last rabies scare around these parts the place was crawling with police and army marksmen and loads of possibly infected animals mostly badgers and foxes were killed and domestic pets were ordered to be kept inside. My understanding is that when you get rabies you die I think only one person has survived rabies anywhere in the world.

And I would go and get some pizza and some gatorade BUT....there is a rabid raccoon outside with rabies that John shot but didn't kill....and I dont wanna get attacked. WTF should I do haha.
