    Breaking through

First post here from first time grower.

I did the whole germination thing with the wet paper towels and that went great. I planted two seeds yesteday and had them in the sun yesterday and moved them indoors last night and had the light on them all night. I moved them back out this morning.

I have been watering twice a day. live in So Cal so its about 80-85 degrees outside

So how long does it take for seeds to break through soil?

Should I keep them indoors all the time under the light 24/7 until they break through or should I put them outside until the sun dont shine and bring them in?

    Thanks

Be patient, you'll see; depending on how deep you buried them (1/4" for me) they should pop up in a day or two.

I buried them amout 1/2" and it has been 3 days for one and 2 for the other. I guess I just cannot wait for them to pop up .

Should I keep them under indoor light 24/0 until they sprout?

    Don't water so much.
They should not be sopping wet or they will likely rot.

Ok. One of the plants sprouted. How often should I water the plants?

Thanks so much for the advice.

Only when the soil appears dry. Small seedlings don't use a ton of water but DO need to be watched, because when they run out, they die quickly.
