And by the way the HOOD is flooded with guns, dope, guns, and more dope..along with corruption and racism (black on hispanic, hispanic on black, white on this, this on white, this on that, that on this..you get the point.) There are a few people in the HOOD who actually do attempt to make something of themselves, but tragically their lives usually get taken away from a stick-up or crossfire. You have to go thru the shit that goes down in my area if you think it's so easy to live in the ghetto homegirl. Ontop of that the education system is garbage as shit with most teachers who don't know what the hell they're doing (children deal all kinds of drugs during class INFRONT of the teachers)..plus the teachers have a tendency to not really give a shit about students and verbally abuse the weak ones. People die everyday in poor areas, it's a fact..so the "50-cent" guy who just posted wasn't really exaggerating because Newark IS a fucked up place..but let's leave it at that, you have to experience it to know what it's really like. So instead of being ignorant to the area he's talking about and quickly jumping into conclusions about how easy it is to survive and make a living in the HOOD..try to think again and take the racism, drug problems, gangs, and guns that flood the HOOD while at the same time thinking about the crime rate, drop out rate, kidnappings, car jackings, rapes, murders, and all the other shit that goes on in the HOOD into consideration.. and acknowledge the fact that although improvements are being made, robberies, rapes, and murder are still going strong, and many times these horrors are inflicted on those who really do try to make good and earn a decent living.
