I don't think that's bullshit at all. I've known some people that were so poor, parents sick, etc... I've seen people my age have to drop out of high school and work a full time job just to pay off their families medical bills, then end up having to push yay just to feed the fam, then get thrown in for trying to take care of those they love. Many areas don't have many jobs, and it's hard to pay attention in school when you cant afford to stay in. I believe in hard work, don't get my wrong. But many people are just stuck in bad situations. Goals and will only go so far in this world...
