Do care what strain you buy?
I don't like dealing with names, I just care if it's bud.
deetank Reviewed by deetank on . Do care what strain you buy? i get it from a guy at school and i never really ask him if its sativa or indica. do you even ask or even care, really all i care is that it gets me high. People get so caught up in "designer" weed. its just weed its not a car. Is this just me? i love weed. i don't love blueberry, whitewidow white rhino, etc. i just love that Good Ol' Mary Jane. Most dealers just give weed a exotic name to jack up the price. Rating: 5

Around here in Cinci, I haven't ever come across anyone with names so there's no use worrying about it.

If you smoke casually or rarely, strain and quality barely matter. Even if I, a daily toker, were to take a week off and smoke brown, bricky dirt weed, I'd still be profoundly tossed. It's usually when you are in a situation in which you can smoke and celebrate herb freely and regularly that you find intrigue in the diversity and depth of cannabis. Just like a wine enthusiast appreciates different vintages and blends, a weed connoisseur will in a similarly artistic fashion, become discriminate and "snobby" and tolerate only the choicest varieties.

Alot of my initial evaluation comes from smell.. if I pop open that baggie and the smell knocks me away I can usually say it's good shit.. As for my dealer.. a couple of times he's said shit like "oh yeah this is some proper dutch" .. but I aint too fussed.

All weed is a particular strain. Even if your dealer doesn't know which one it is a certain strain. I didn't ask for one specifically but I always asked what it was. And does it piss anybody else off when people talk about dro like it's a strain?

it depends
if i'm just getting the normal $40/eigth of dank, no i dont care
if i'm paying extra for some ridiculously good bud, i'd SOMETIMES like to know what i'm getting. My dealer gets his stuff through a primo grower, he almost always knows what he's getting... occasionally, the guy plants bagseeds but that's prettty rare.

My two main dealers are always on deck with the dank. One dealer delivers and he's on deck with purple kush, AK47, blueberry, and white rhino. My other dealer is on deck with master kush and oh my God that shit smells so good. He also owns a Volcano and a pretty decent bong with an ash catcher and ice catcher.
You can tell the difference by the smell and the good smoke. Usually, I only get myself some kush and white rhino though.
