Male or female anyone ?
So the male plant produced meat? And by meat I am referring to the ganja of the plant.

Yep, males can give you a buzz- nowhere as good as their sisters, but when you're out, it will do. I let my males live until the flowers are almost bursting. I'm in my closet at least once a day- usually more, so I can keep a close eye on things. Also, I don't consider the occasional seed as a tragedy, I see it as an opportunity and an adventure! In case you've ever wondered WHY males are not all sticky with trichs like females are- the answer is simple.
Cannabis is a wind-pollinated plant. A trichy, "sticky male's" pollen would get stuck on him! That does not bode well for passing on those "sticky male" genes. While the pollen of "nonsticky" males would be flying far and wide!
For females, the situation is just the opposite! They NEED to have sticky buds! Since it is wind pollinated, being able to capture a grain of pollen at the slightest touch, is an essential trait. So the plants are selecting for sticky females and nonsticky males.
I have read, in various boards, about the occasional "sticky", trich-covered, male- these males should be incorporated into the gene pool if at all possible. Imagine, if you will, a strain of fully triched plants- the males just as potent as their sisters in THC levels! It would take generations of inbreeding and strict culling of a large number plants, but I believe it could be done! The "sticky male" trait could be the beginning of a whole new way of outdoor growing! Males would produce a smaller amount of smokables and the females would have seeds, but because the males capture much of their own pollen, there'd be only a few seeds.
Ever the optimist, I check my male plants by touching them and then take a peek through my microscope at a sample of trim leaf, before I kill them. Haven't found the male I'm looking for and since I am a Cali med user/grower who stays within the limits (6 plants), I likely never will. I hope you find yours and be the person who revolutionizes growing, by originating the first "sticky male" strain! Have fun! - Granny:hippy:\"If the truth won\'t do, then something is wrong!\"

Male or female anyone ?
Yes, I have a hermy with close to the same preflower on the 3rd branch down on the left. The plant is covered at tops and 5 nodes down on main stem and 3 nodes on secondaries by pistils. But has 5 of those little things, that pic resembles the biggest of them. Should I cut them off, both plants have them. They are 9 days into flowering, should I cut those queer lumps off. Are they close to pollinating??

drgreen, please explain how you get 'definitely female' from that pic.
growdisstuff, covered in pistils at 9 days? Are you certain that what you are seeing is not the tiny spikes of new leaf growth forming?

guaranteed pistils, everywhere at tops and couple branches down. I thought all the pistils should be out anyways by now. Doesn't matter, I know theres pistils and shiiit, imma rip one off again and see if anything inside. Maybe there little buds, but I thought only weed grows where pistils are, correct me if I am wrong, anyways I think imma pic one off.

It was harsh doing it but I removed one of the little buds. To c if there was pollen inside... Ok confirmed no pollen inside.... unless it is invisible. the sac was like 1 mm in diametre if that, i left the piece of foliage that grew beside against it on th e plant.. You can see that in the pic 3rd branch down. That is what I pulled off leaving the spear on the plant.
