Was that many people are somewhat deficient in endocannabinoids (THC-like chemicals that our bodies produce naturally) and they couldn't get high until the receptors that use endocannabinoids were full of THC. Your body just grabbed all the THC to make the "hungry" receptors "happy"- and NONE of it got to your brain. No THC in the brain= no high.

I don't know how accurate this theory is, but it seems to make sense to me. Also, eating cannabis makes it go another route (through the liver) and it changes other non-THC cannabinoids into stuff that can get you high. You kind of "primed the pump" with smoking, and then ate enough to get you high.

Just keep toking, darlin', and you WILL get high! However, if smoking is distasteful to you, try a vaporizer- MUCH smoother and easier on the lungs! Like you, I don't smoke tobacco and as far as I'm concerned, tobacco is for killing insects or using in potpourris!
