Mercury Vapor light odor eliminater

Hey any of you guys, gals heard of this mercury vapor theory, where it actually takes the smell out of the air. I just succesfully broke my first bulb, trying to hear from anybody using this.

BE CAREFUL!, that outer bulb blocks most of the harmful UV light output by the bulb, AND it'll burn itself out very soon, you'll see. $12 bulb down the drain in the name of science! Good luck

good looks this is a wild method, i know the uv would will hurt the eyes but any problems breathing the air , when its on it creates a weird fresh smell in the room. What its doing is actually killing the particles in the air. Its new obviously anybody out there with some info hook it up.
