Gonna use this site as a personal mentor.....

    A little about me....
I have been around smoke and smoke things since I was young... I was taken in by an old blind guy and taught everything I know about marijane. He taught me to be a connoisseur of fine marijuana, not just to be a pot head... though I admit, I enjoyed the high, it was more about learning about the different high from each strain.... mixing and so on...
Anyway, my mentor died, and I found myself doing and using stupid things, and got into some trouble.... I have never experianced paranoia until all this happened, and because of the paranoia I pretty much stopped smoking, and in doing so, I removed myself from the scene almost totally. I have a few friends who smoke still, but dont hang around them much when they do.
I was clearing out some things a few months ago and found a few stashes of seeds. I figured what the hell, I tool out 4 from each stash and went to germanate and got 4 from one stash to germ while the other 4 did not. I took them out to the back porch where I have several planters for other types of plants and burried the germed and non germed seeds into a large concrete planter. 4 have popped up through the dirt. They are maybe 3 inches above the dirt witht he second set of leaves sprouting.
My questions are: is there a specific amout of space these should be away from one another? or can I let all four grow together in the huddle they are in which is about an inch or two away from the other?
Also, will they need to be separated later? Should they be separated? I am not growing to get a harvest.... but I would like to get a few buds and maybe smoke a little of what i have grown....
how old will these plants be for me to sex them?
    Thanks

you should probably seperate them now if you can and put each in there own pot or seperate alot further than they are now as per sexing them you are probably looking at around 2 months old to sex via preflowers you might be able to do it a little soooner. if not using preflowers your probably looking at sometime mid or late august when they will probably start to flower and sex would be obvious.

    Bejay,
    Thanks for the reply.
I went to Homodepot and picked up a large bag of Mirical Gro organic planting soil. I had a longer concrete planter and cleaned it out and put some stones along the bottom to allow drainage, and to prevent the holes on the bottom from getting clogged. I moved three plants to the langer planter that is right at 2 1/2 foot long and then temp moved the fourth one to the long planter to change out the soil to the new stuff I just bought then moved it back to the new stuff in the old planter. Did this yesterday, and as of 20 minutes ago, they appeared to be doing nicely in the new stuff.
Anything special I should do to these guys?
I was told years ago, that when the 3rd set of leaves pop out, you should pinch them off and then pintch every other set off as it grows to keep them short and bushy.... is this good to do?

not really anything special just treat them like any other plant and just water them if they need it, the soil should have enough nutrients in it to probably grow well up until flowering.
if you want to keep them short you could top but would probably wait until the 5-6 internode you could also lst them where you continue to tie them down to get them to remain short and bushy, dont pinch off any after you initaially top the plant.
