Maybe you don't realize it, but you are favoring God. Religion and God are not the same. You're exposing religion but blaming God. Jesus, who was anti-religion, has become the cornerstone for most religions. Religion put Jesus to the cross. Since religion is led by Satan, I don't blame God for those killings. What about the Catholic priests with the little boys? Are they men of God? :hippy:

as an atheist i believe that religion created god, so you'd be right. religious folk who believe that god created religion might see this as the work of god and therefore it's god's fault that such atrocities happen. then there are those who believe in god apart from religion, they just might be split on the motivation.

any way you look at it, it's just another example of the damage that is done every day in the name of fanaticism.

This will piss people off i'm sure but this had nothing to do with god and maybe some religion but more to do with law..not that it's right but it happens...in some countrys you if you steal you loose a hand...in others you got to jail.. is either fair???..one thing in common is that where ever we live we know the laws(rules)and we know the possible punishment...she knew she was breaking the rules when she did it..(how many times was she warned by her family we don't know) so before ya'll get goin god and religion is a excuse that uneducated and down right moronic people use to justify stupidity..

I'm not blaming anything, just exposing the story. From your words I deduct you don't follow any of the major religions, which would be what I would do if I believed in a creator. The religions we see today, they were made by us. Man made God up, not the other way around.

Yes, I was raised a catholic but I've been an atheist since I was about 12. And as you will probably guess correctly, the only reason I was a catholic was because my parents also were catholics. Gladly I started using my brain from quite an early age (no offense to any catholic/christian that reads this).
