You realize that inmates cost roughly $20000 per year. What would be the $5 to fry this guy in a microwave and all the others that do this to their children. And would it be that much more expensive to take a .30 bullet and shoot someone for murder? I think it would greatly depreciate the crime rate when there were no possibilities for getting out and shit.

Although what am I talking about we're Americans and we know better than other countries right? I mean we're more civilized so we have to house our prisoners and give them more meals and take better care of them than the homeless. This country has more issues to worry about and it could make better use of the tax dollars than spending it on the housing of inmates.

I don't see how it's any worse than beating your kids to death...which happens every day. Actually, this one didn't even die. Still fucked up.

I don't think the death penalty is a good idea, because you can't undo it. Even in a pretty clear-cut case, it's not really helping anything. It's not like they're going to get away from alcatraz, just give 'em a few hundred years in prison. It's just as a bad of a punishment.
