"Mickey Mouse" Hamas: Christians & Jews under Islam rule
According to Memri, the child replies: "We will annihilate the Jews."
The sound quality on the clip is not very good, but I have listened to it several times (as have a number of native Arabic speakers) and we can hear no word that might correspond to "annihilate".
What the girl seems to say is: "Bitokhoona al-yahood" - "The Jews will shoot us" or "The Jews are shooting us."

How easy was it for MEMRI to fool so many of the US media outlets with its translation of a children program on Hamas TV, where a child was supposedly have said the words " we will annihilate the Jews"
It was very easy!
The controversy was fueled further when CNN decided to yank the video off the air because of major translation errors on part of MEMRI.\

"Mickey Mouse" Hamas: Christians & Jews under Islam rule
RAMALLAH, West Bank (AP) - Hamas militants have suspended a Palestinian television program featuring a Mickey Mouse-type character who preaches against the U.S. and Israel.
Palestinian Information Minister Mustafa Barghouti says the character represents a "mistaken approach" to the Palestinian struggle against Israeli occupation.
The character urges Palestinian children to fight Israel and work for global Islamic domination.
Barghouti says his ministry requested that the show, called "Tomorrow's Pioneers," be taken off Hamas-affiliated Al Aqsa TV so it can be "placed under review."
Children would often call the show and sing anthems about fighting Israel.
The program was opposed by the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation, which is controlled by the Fatah movement of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Fatah
is a Hamas rival that shares power with the militants in the Palestinian government.

I guess the Palestinian Information Minister feels that the little girl drawing pictures is a mistaken appoach to their struggle.:S2:

So let me get this straight...just because the propaganda fed to the children to dislike "Jews" was not as harsh as reported it is OK? Any reference to a gun in a kids show is OK? I do not see how any of this is justifiable?
