actually i think us or some similar comunity is the best to go to for relationship advice (not that i do, just saying)

as we represent general people, where as 'love doctors' rarely ever know wtf they're talking about...(from what i've seen from them, they are rarely ever 'neutral' i.e. a woman dr. gives out advice from a female prespective, and male drs do the same... i dunno if that makes sense, kinda hard to put that thought train in words) and people such as your friends or parents usually back your decision, even if it's not the best choice for you...

just my thought on that part...

Well I think it isn't exactly about "getting advice" on relationships at least it wouldn't be for me, more as getting another perspective from other people. Discussing it, throwing ideas and suggestions back and forth can often times help oneself in determining what they want to ultimately do about said problem.

This isn't a bad place to come for other types of advice... health, relationship, whatnot, as this is a VERY diverse community that includes some interesting, educated, worldly, and well-travelled people.... you just have to have a little common sense and take it all with a grain of salt and a large dose of good humor. Which some people seem to be lacking...
