Delayed Effect for Firecrackers aka Cannacrackers?

Yesterday I made my first batch of Cannacrackers, following the recipe to the letter. All natural oily peanut butter, a generous but single layer of weed for each cracker sandwich and baked 20 minutes at 320 degrees.

I ate 2 of them as soon as they were cool enough and waited and waited. a little past an hour (about 1 hour 20 minutes) I was still not feeling a damn thing.

Disappointed I just use the leftover cutup weed for a small bowl in my pipe and smoked it. (About 4 hits)

20 minutes later and I was nicely stoned and strangely and pleasantly it lasted for about 7 hours!! Since I know that a bowl isn't going to keep me stoned for maybe 1hr-2hr at most I can only assume that the crackers finally kicked in? That's quite a long wait though. Nearly an hour and half at least and I'm not sure how much of that was the bowl and how much was the crackers.

hah nice.. iunno, when i made firecrackers i made 4 of them and like 5 mins after they were done i ate them all.. and like hours passed and i THOUGHT i was feeling the effects but i don't really know cause i was already high from smoking weed.. but later on in the day i was walking back from a friends houes and i thought bees were attacking me and stinging me all in my shirt and stuff.. i was freakin out in the middle of Sheetz lol.. but there was nothing there :wtf: i just kinda walked fast/ran home and then passed out.. so i really don't kno if them crackers ever worked :P lol

Well I know they work now, though apparently body weight/size plays a factor in how much you need, it's news to me, perhaps its just due to eating it instead of smoking it? I made an extra batch as I brought them in for some of my friends at work. Well one of my friends he's a really small guy He only weighs like 115lbs lol. He ate 1 and in 30 minutes he was high as a kite. I'm a very big guy 330lbs so I guess it makes sense why it took and hour and half and 2 of them to get going for me.

it usually takes an hour forty five to two hours for them to kick in. i make 'em with about a joints worth per cracker, putting the finely chopped bud between layers of peanut butter. for extra delay, put a dab of real butter on the bud before you close up the stumble cookie. after one hour and forty five minutes of ingesting two of these babies, eat something sweet like chocolate chip cookies or a cupcake. all of a sudden your mouth will go dry and you will say "whoa!"
