where is it safe to cut a plant like can i cut off smaller lower leaves?? if i cut the top off will it make it branch out instead of growing up where should i make that cut at???????

usually when you cut the top off it will branch out, or at least start two tops. most people say that after 3 sets of leaves you can top your plants. i always do this because it keeps the nodes a little closer and i dont need real tall plants, it stunts them a little. and i usually do it at least one more time on all the branches before it starts to flower. it wont hurt to trim off some leaves, but if they arent bothering anything leave them because they soak up the light.

Give it 5 sets of leaves.
3 is a touch early IMO, especially if your plant is suffering nOOb grower syndrome (any of an innumerable bunch of stresses caused by the typical problems plaguing beginners).
Don't cut leaves, period, unless they are already 50% or more damaged.

ok thanks! and when i do top it off do i just cut off the part that the new set of leaves is comming out of completely off? it seems like that would hurt it....BTW stinky i know noobs have alot of problems but got the help of some semi exprienced people and its working out ver well (knock on wood) no real big issues....i did prepare tho.....acually one problem i am haveing is this all pro blend stuff i have a few of runts in party cups i test on and i gave a little less than the recommended amount and its starting to burn should i just keep lowering and testing till i find the right amout

If it's burning, flush, then lower the dosage.

How many leaves ya got so far? Fertilize at 4-5 sets of true leaves.

this is from about a week and a half ago a day after transplant they have really hit a growth spurt tho the one on the far left is 2 times that size the are a month and 1 day

Bagseeds? Because the one on the left is already looking a little on the sativa side...

yea bagseed collected over 1/12 years from some fine nugs i hope to get 3 fems...you should see it now its getting its first set of 9 points leafs....should i top them or no what so you prefer and if so im not sure were to cut it has 8 sets of leaves also is that normal for a month old plant
