Hehe, always around (these boards are a daily visit for me), looking for good grow logs and general botanical wisdom. Generally don't post much unless there's a question relating specifically to pest control/pesticide usage (it's my profession).

My last batch of babies did pretty well through the winter and went almost 6 weeks in flower, but had to be "liquidated" tragically early during an unplanned and rather hurried move in February. They didn't turn out bad, but they were far from great, LOL. I pulled about an oz of middle-grade herb from both of 'em.

Still, at the time all I was using for light was a dozen 28W CFL's and a single 125W Lights of America floodlight that was supposed to be a secondary light source for a 4'x8'x6' iguana enclosure. When I moved, the CFL's made it into normal sockets everywhere... Now every room in my house is very well lit with relatively powerful CFL's... :P

No plans to grow where I'm at right now. I've got two other roommates, plus I have to worry about their girlfriends, and any company they invite over, as well as my girlfriend, and friends I invite over. Parties tend to break out regularly. With so many people here all the time, I worry about my friggin' tomatoes surviving to harvest- I wouldn't dare subject myself to the stress of trying to keep an MJ grow on the DL for 4 months.

HOWEVER, there is hope on the horizon. I'm considering moving in with a good friend of mine who is a little more grow-friendly in terms of the number of heads coming and going and more selective on who comes over in the first place, so the possibility is always there. I've been collecting 'ponics supplies for an upcoming grow and filling my head with books on the subject, as well as spending a lot of time reading grow logs (you 'n turtle have enough material to study for months, lol). At this stage it's still tentative of course, but I'm looking at a two-site recirculating DWC in a ScrOG setup. I've still got to gather about half the equipment I'm planning on using, but this long hiatus will give me time to make sure I've got what I need. On the plus side, I'll be going into it with everything prepared, rather than freaking out when I find out I have to get a $250 water chiller with no notice... Do it right the first time, I figure. :P
