There's no need for me to forgive you... that's between you and God. If He decides He wants you to give a toss about Him I have no doubt He is more then able to get your attention.

I will say I think its both funny and a bit sad that we, humans, tend to blame the Divine for shit we brought on ourselves (especially Dubya by electing the bastard, but even disease and aging through our own sin). I'm not being judgmental of you specifically. I myself do the same thing sometimes.

But I have to remind myself that the fact that God put into place consequences for sin (lying, cheating, hatred, murder, etc... all or one of which we all have committed) doesn't make Him any more evil then my own father is evil for spanking my brother that time he shot my neighbors window out with his first BB gun and thought it was funny. And before you say spanking or any other form of parental discipline is insignificant, to a young child it can be emotionally devastating. But the point of it is to correct the child so he/she won't make the harmful mistake again.

I think of disease as our common punishment. We can focus on the negative and curse God, or focus on the positive and thank Him for the fact that pain, aging, sadness, and disease can actually work for good when those terrible consequences draw us back to Him and encourage us to be loving and help one another through hard times instead of cursing each other.
