Student Scholars For 9/11 Truth meet presidential candidate Ron Paul. The Congressman promises to talk to Dennis Kucinich about setting up a new independent investigative body to look into 9/11.
Ron Paul meets Student Scholars for 9/11 Truth

The only thing that video proves is that RP is willing to have an investigative probe with DK on the events of 9/11. From my understanding, and correct me if I am wrong, the original investigation was halted due to the action of the Bush Administration. Crusify the "nutjob" for wanting the truth (sarcasm).

As far as the debate tonight, RP spoke what he believes is the truth. The moment after he stated that, and I paraphrase, the US gov't was partly responsible for 9/11, I knew he was done. The Neo-cons applauded as Guiliani, moved in for the rebuttal, that the American government could not possibly be blamed for the loss of 3000 innocent American lives.

Well, of course, the American government is not directly responsible for those 3000 deaths of 9/11...the hijackers are the one's to blame...at least in a court of American law. However, as RP duely notes, it is the US governments history of interferance in the ME that has led to the hatred of America that caused these attacks. Since the end of WWII, the USA has dabled in ME politics with disastrous results. Who are we to fuck with culture's that we have no knowledge of?

Ron Paul was spot on when he put our government in the view for ME terrorism against the US. It may not sound pretty when you hear it, but, as he stated so FUCKING CLEARLY...HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF ANOTHER COUNTRY WAS INTERFERING WITH YOUR LIFE IN AMERICA?

"CALLER: I want a complete, impartial, and totally independent investigation of the events of September 11, 2001 . I'm tired of this bogus garbage about terrorism. Ask Michael Meacher about how he feels about this bogus war on terrorism. Can you comment on that please?

HON. DR. RON PAUL: Well, that would be nice to have. Unfortunately, we don't have that in place. It will be a little bit better now with the Democrats now in charge of oversight. But you know, for top level policy there's not a whole lot of difference between the two policies so a real investigation isn't going to happen. But I think we have to keep pushing for it. And like you and others, we see the investigations that have been done so far as more or less cover-up and no real explanation of what went on.
