Let me tell you about the rudest stoner I have ever met....

I went to a party on Friday night...nothing too huge, it was pretty relaxed and low-key....and two of my friends and I went outside to smoke a blunt.

We just start when the door opens and this dude comes outside, who we sort of knew but had never really had a conversation with or anything. He's an arrogant ass who thinks he's the coolest cat around just because he's the bassist in a band (a band that sucks balls, by the way)... Anyway, he comes outside and says "I'm in".

Now, I'm a really nice guy, so I didn't tell him to fuck off like many might if someone "asked" like that. I resignedly motion for him to join the circle, and we begin smoking. Well, whenever the blunt comes to this guy, he takes 6 hits! Not only that, but he takes his sweet time between hits. We all wanted to punch him; it also just so happened that I was next in line after him.

Whenever my friend who's before him in the circle is hitting (the guy is polite and takes 2 hits) the new guy looks really impatient, like "hurry the fuck up." Worst of all....the third time the guy gets the blunt, he takes 4 hits and then just stands there, immobile, for about 20 seconds, the large spliff in his hand. So I reach for it, and he immediately snaps to attention and says "dude..." and gives me a look like I'm really rude, and then takes another 3 hits before passing.

I seriously hope this motherfucker smokes nothing but shake for the rest of his life. Anyone else have any stories like this?

i dunno i don't think i'd be quite so angry... no one said shit to him... so wtf? not everyone is educated, and alot smoke alone.... or just between a couple people....

i personally know when there's an actual circle i'ts hit hit pass, but if it's me and a friend or my brother just toking, i do the same, i hold onto it forever and take alot of hits... (after we've both had some off it, i'm not gonna sit there forever it with it when we're both sober and it just got lit)

i go evenf urther then that tho... some people are timid and really try to keep the usual ettiquite.... we're smoking, i hold it for awhile, then they hit it twice and try to pass it back i tell them "dude, hold onto it for a minute..."

someone should have said something.. personally if it were me in tha tsituation i would have said "hit hit pass, it'll come back i promise" and if he said anything other then 'my bad' or the equivelant i woulda said.. "bye..." of course he woulda gave me the wtf look, and i woulda just stared back... if he was still standing htere, when the person before him got the blunt i woulda told him to skip the mother fucker and pass to me (or whoever was after him)

but you HAVE To say something.... some people just don't know any better and youc an't get mad at them for it, cuz they don't know any better... once you tell them and if they ignore it, then that's their ass.... especially if it's your weed (personally, if it's someone elses weed we're all smoking, you can't bitch.... i'm grateful for the 2 hits i get per round of free weed even if the 'owner' holds onto it for 10+ hits... it's his shit...

can't tell me you wouldn't get pissed if someone was trying to tell you what to do with YOUR weed.... it's about respect.....

like i said, shoulda said something... it doesn't have to be something threatening.. just like "hey man c'mon we're ina circle, hit hit..."

Yeah man, why the hell didn't you say shit? Well, I can understand that, I've been a bit uncomfortable with the smoke etiquette before and was too timid to say anything.

But if someones pissing you off then you should definitely say something. They either don't know better, or are going to keep doing what they're doing till told otherwise, a lot of people are real chill when you tell them to do something because they're the ones getting smoked out and don't wanna get kicked out the rotation.

Yeah, if someone is doing anything that you're not ok with, I think you should let them know (within reason). I wish everyone would be straight up all the time. Everyone would be happier.
