Schools these days are 95% talk. Nothing really happens, except maybe once or twice a school year. That's how it is in my school, the kids are all talk, and that's not good when you have 2300 adolescents crammed into one small building... I'm a junior, and I simply pay no attention. Nobody uses the words cheerleaders or jocks because everyone is, for the most part, an individual(with very few exceptions). I'm in weight lifting and these "jocks" are some of the coolest people I've met. Everyone on the football team has to maintain a 2.5+ gpa if they want to play and most have 3.0 or higher, which is a B average. These so-called "nerds" that I'm told about from an earlier childhood and from movies, are cool as hell!

I'm in Computer Science II with some of the nicest, funniest people ever(Me and my long hair and Iron Maiden T-shirt). People rarely get any prejudice or bashing, at least where I live, and if anyone did anything of the such, they would get beat down into the ground by everyone else.

Hopefully you're daughter, if she hasn't ready, will learn to think nothing of these losers, and just pass them by. I try, but if someone gets in my face, I don't mind being suspended to stand up. I thought things would get worse when you enter highschool, but it's actually alot better. There's no cliques or anything, we're all down. Of course, this may be because all students are on the same team, and we all hate the school education board. This has united us in a way...

I'm not sure if this made sense, I kept having to minimize the window because my parents kept walking by, stupid Dutch Haze and Legal Bud advertisements...
