Most people hear "disco" and think Bee Gees, KC and the Sunshine Band or something, but there is a lot of deep, dark, dirty stuff out there for those willing to explore... and it is perfect head music! Glad you liked it, thc! I make my own mixes sometimes but nowhere near that caliber. Those two are pretty top-notch, imo. I'll post more links soon if you're interested.

Yep, I tend to gag when I hear a lot of mainstream disco... although I have a soft spot for some of the popular stuff, too.

Here is another mix, "A Slow Blow" from Mark Seven. He's better known as a techno producer but he has excellent taste in old school disco, house, etc., as his DJ mixes attest. As the title suggests, this one is downtempo and laid back (i.e., perfect for a smoke!) Hope you enjoy!
