Yea, this shouldn't be a problem, dude. But, overall, yes it is a bit of work, but if you cut them and leave them in the water, they should be ok. Just cut them off the plant, put them in the water, then when you have all your clones, re-cut under the water and dip and plant in your medium/cloning device. Either way, you're going to be working each one-by-one, but at least you won't be running back and forth from your plant, if that is your concern.
