Closet vs Hydro Hut Mini

Im starting a thread to get input on whether i should use my 4x4x7 closet or if i should get a hydro hut mini. I would like to hear everyones input with pros and cons of both. Now the closet can have vent holes cut, but i would prefer it didnt...I am going to be doing a DWC system either way with 2-4 plants and 4 being MAX. with a 400 watt hps for flowering. Thanks and i hope this thread takes off!

You WILL need vent with a 400w HPS.

Well, real quickly, I'd say one obvious pro to using the closet would be the increased amount of space. A hydrohut is what...like 3x3x6 or something? Well obviously 84 sqft is better than 54 sqft. MJ likes space if you've got it. And if you plan to only grow four, they will be able to grow nice and bushy....

BUT, a 400w is not enough light to cover 4x4 now that I think about it. 3x3 is actually the upper limit, so maybe the hydrohut was initially designed for a 400w.

One con of the hydrohut is ventilation, because either way, you are going to have to pull air from somewhere and send it some other 'where' so you may or may not be able to avoid cutting holes.

Then where r u gonna put your HH? In your closet? Closet is more stealth. Maybe you can run a small veg/mother area in the closet as well (see my main log).

Ya i can put 2 lights in my closet if necessary...which ill probably do seeing as how i have good access to lights being an electrician...with the HH i could put it next to my window and vent strait out where as the closet is a good 10 feet away from the outside. I agree with the stealth part too...people coming in and out every once in a while and i really wouldnt want something to be seen lol. Thanks TGF!
