my boy chris is in iraq right now
he is on his 3rd tour
from what ive heard those fields
can be a problem.

they can grow very dense and they cant burn
due to the high moisture level and from above
it is hard to detect heat with infrared cuz they are so wet and thick
enemy soldiers like hiding in them places

gun fight in a weed patch sounds like some crazy times

Well, no one else out there is above them - so they can do what they like. Weather they're allowed to or not, i'm positive some will. Infact, i know some do, a friend of mine [taffs] is in the paras and when he was on tour he smoked.

If they're risking their lives like that they should be allowed to do what they like in the mean time.
