How do they work? I have had a spoon before so I get the basic concept, but what is with the little bubble on the bottom?

Basically, a bubbler is a spoon, except instead of the smoke coming out of the bowl and going straight into your lungs, the smoke passes through a chamber filled with water, and then out the stem.

For a different way to visualize it, a bubbler is a little bit like a bong, except the bowl is vertically oriented, and the mouthpiece is horizontal.

Yeah my friend got a hammer and a sherlock bubbler, amazing pieces. The hammer was found by his friend's mom and thrown out, though...shame it was 4 millimeter thick glass and cost him 99 bucks :-X

Sherlock cost him 80.

i got a sherlock for 35+10 shipping. hits harder than anything else with or without water. this i believe is because it basically hits straight up so you dont have to pull the smoke out thoough obbviously you still inhale...also it is big enough that it can fill up with some smoke as well. not the flashiest piece, but the glass is thicker than it is on any other piece i have come in conctact with, the price was right too. i ordered it from a guy who used to advertise on this site back when that was kosher. best piece ive ever owned thats for sure and it was a bargain. only problem is it is incredibly conspicuous so hitting it when you are trying to be sneaky is about impossible it is like a genies lamp for petes sake.

i like bubblers alot i just bought my first one today its the hammer kind i like them better than the sherlocks dont know why but its fuckin sicc but ima go blaze
