Hey gang, I have some 1 wk old seedling babies outside and man are their stems red..... ALL of them. I bought some Pro-Mix Organic for veggies and the Ph tested 6.2-7.0 (better than Miracle Grow) so I tend not to believe it's a soil/nutrient problem but it very well could be. Now the BIG question! Can low temperatures cause the redding of the stems? I know over-watering can cause this and N deficiency as well so I've been watching closely. I would really appreciate any nugs of wisdom.
