Cmpost.worms.are.dieing.and.I.have.maggots!

What's.up..We've.been.doing.yardwork.and.have.so.m any.worms..So.I.grabbed.them.all.and.put.them.in.a n.icecream.pail(I.have.a.5.gl.pail,but.can't.find. m.drill.to.put.holes.in.it)with.some.sunshine.mix. 4(peat.vaculmite,and.perlite)all.my.scraps,a.head. of.lettuce,and.some.stems..It's.been.kept.nicely.m oist..and.turnied.everyday..Tday.while.I'm.turning .it.I'm.nticing.that.my.worms.are.dead.or.almost.d ead.and.I've.found.a.cluster.of.maggots..I've.only .had.this.going.less.than.a.week..I.feel.like.such .a.murderer..

Just.go.dig.a.hole.and.get.more...what.else.is.in. the.pile.that.the.maggots.(eat). And.why.do.you.use.so.many.periods?

I.thought.that.too.but.apparently.they.are.suppsed .to.be.like.strings..and.these.were.stubbly.and.wh itish.clear..like.a.grown.worms.first.cm.of.head.b ut.with.a.full.digestive.system.I.could.see.clearl y..
