Upside Down Leaves
Every now and then I'll have a leaf spin around upside down on me. Last night I did a res change and this morning each plant has an upside down leaf. Btw, my lights are on evenings, off daytime so the lights have been on all night since the res change.
Is it reacting to a pH difference or....? I did increase the nutrients but only from 800ppm to 880.
I may have lowered the light a bit too since they are stretching some but it's plenty cool in there, not over 80.
I know this is probably nothing critical but if anyone has seen this and knows what the heck causes it I'd be grateful.
Oh, another thing while I'm at it - sometimes I notice a few of the leaves curl up along the side edges. I dont mean the tip curls up, I mean the sides start to curl up. What causes that?doco Reviewed by doco on . Upside Down Leaves Every now and then I'll have a leaf spin around upside down on me. Thanks bud. It's probably heat then, it got a little warm the other night, not terrible but pushing it I suppose. My humidity is 54%. This is a South African strain so I would think it better suited for heat. Anyway, they are back to normal tonight and hopefully they won't pull any more Linda Blairs on me.

Yes, I've read that it's either too much heat or ph issues that will make the sides curl. doco i must say I've never had a plant do that to me. Interesting you guys. Once a leaf flips like that does it eventually turn back around or does it stay that way for good?

Edge curling is from heat stress
Doesn't look like you have a serious problem overall though. Looking good.

Weird for sure... but the stomata are on the underside... If I had to guess, my hunch would be that flipping allows the plant to transpire much much faster and cool itself off. But this is just a totally wild and uneducated guess.
