I haven't had nightmares too recently, but I do remember my dreams and I know that they are pretty vivid.
It's just fear. Maybe you are having a fearful problem in your life or something of that sort.
Only you can really interpret your dreams.

I cant remember my dreams - and as far as i know i dont have nightmares. I can only remember one bad dream i had as a kid - something about a meat clever and me chopping someone up - then getting stabbed in the knee. Strange.

Something i always hear people saying is "you cant feel pain in dreams" but when i had that dream it hurt when i got stabbed. It's clear as day, i mean, i can remember this from over 12 years ago.

suprisingly, my nightmares have kinda of subsided.... a few months ago, however... i was ravenged by them.. horrible fucking dreams.... those ones you can feel (and i don't mean physical pain... the emotional pain) of my wife leaving me, sometimes because i'm an idiot, sometimes for someone else...
but they are nothing compared to seeing my brothers face everynight, and watching him die a diffrent death every single night... seconds or inches away from saving him, and i just can't... everynight, reliving the same feeling and emotion of when my mom told me he was gone... i was terrified to sleep... even taking 10 sleeping pills to go to sleep, i would fight it.. not even consciencely... my body or mind would find something to keep me awake...
cramps outta the middle of no where, pain in my eyes from having them closed... restless thoughts, mostly of being scared to go to sleep... i was in hell.. a literal living hell... it's bad when you're afraid to go to sleep just from nightmares...

I get them sometimes, maybe once every 3 months or so. Some of them have been so vivid that once I woke up, pouring sweat, pzale as a ghost, and I ended up getting sick. I don't know if it was the meal the supper before and the really, REALLY sick dream that I had. I care not to repeat as they are very disturbing at times.
A lot of the times though, after a bad dream, my anxiety comes up and cannabis is the only thing that calms me down.
Bad dreams suck, but hey, what can you do.

Nightmares
I once had a nightmare where i was being chased through a forest at night by two assasins who had already killed my family and friends. That s**t was realy intense. The only thing i had to defend myself with was a piece of f**king tree branch. I also lost one of my fingers, i can't remember how that happend though.
