Thanks Dizzy

I was gonna have the odor neutraliser outside the cab and kept in the closet, to keep it as stealthy as possible. I might move soon, so that plan is only if I stay.
Oh and I forgot to mention, I liked the way you hooked up that pc fan to that fan controller to the PSU. Great use for extra parts huh

If you got the parts, might as well use em.

If you do go the closet route, make sure you have some exhaust out of it. The scrubber will take care of the smell, but there will still be a lot of heat in the closet. Seems to be where a fair chunk of people have the 1st issue, not thinking about venting outside the immediate area.
Good luck!

Yeah that was one issue I was concerned about. I was thinking of locking my door at night when I sleep, and then opening the closet door. The closet is kind of between my window and my bathroom, so I was thinking if I kept the bathroom fan on, and kept the window open (with a window fan blowing outside air in) as an active intake, I think it might help some what. All I really need to do from there would be to build somekind of tubing that could reach those couple yards from the exhaust of the cabinet to outside the closet and pointing towards the bathroom. I do realize that having the window open and the fans on won't be much if I can't get the air out of the closet.
Another way I was thinking to deal with it (and this would require more work but would probably be best) would be to actually create a vent on the wall. There's a wall that separates the closet from the room. I could cut through that enough for the size of one of those heating vents. I could stick a vent cover on the room side, and I could feed the exhaust to the closet side of the vent. I could use one of those steel or aluminum converters from the exhaust to the vent.
I don't think anyone would really notice the change too, someone might at one point down the line say, "hey, did you always have that there?" I'd just shrugg it off and say, "I guess..." LoL. Whenever I move out I would have to get rid of it, but it wouldn't be hard to repair. I already have the joint compound, I'd just need the spray for the texture of the wall and the paint to match (and prob. some plywood for backing). Hell, I gotta buy that anyways since I got some other stuff that needs fixin
...I'd be tearing up the walls a little anyways I think since I would be installing an electrical outlet or two in the closet anyways...
I'll probably build another odor neutraliser to stick in my room if I want to cover the KL crystal smell. Oh well, I got some time still to plan this out lol I'll just go off like this if you ask me about it
Anyways, any initial thoughts about that? No need to go in depth if you don't want to I still got time, when I'm ready I'll be making my own threads for it  ...... wait what did I just do? :wtf: Oh.... SORRY FOR THE HIJACK, trust me, don't get me started I'll just keep rolling
I hope you don't mind.
Anyways, thanks again Dizzy  Keep us updated

Hey no worries.
I'm not sure how good venting into your wall would be. Depending on how your walls are constructed, it might just be a sealed cavity (by the wall framing) and not really exhaust anywhere.
Can you go through the ceiling into an Attic or maybe through the floor into a crawlspace?
Does your closet share a wall with the main plumbing wall? Could vent into the sewer vent.
Main problem is the recirculation of the warm air, eventually that will get warmer and warmer, etc, until your steaming your plants.
Might try a test hole in the wall and see if you can vent into it, look up inside to see if it just stops or if you can see a space above the top of the walls.

Sorry, I meant I would make a vent in the wall that separates the closet from my room, with it cut through both sides of the wall (the closet side, and the room side). The Exhaust would be fed directly to the vent on the closet side, and the air would be pushed through the exhaust tube in the closet, through the vented wall, and into my room.
If I kept the window open with the fan on, and the fan in my bathroom on with the bathroom door open, I think it would ventilate ok. The exhaust for the bathroom fan is a good enough distance from the window.
Here I hope this pic illustrates my point, literally. I love mspaint
. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks again
