Shout out to Florida Growers!~

Aloha to everyone here, im new and all.

Im looking to start my own first plant (woohoo!) and i live in south florida. I know there are different climates and methods and all that jazz so to narrow it down i am looking for any florida cultivators willing to share some useful tips anf first tim mistake that i might be able to avoid.

I am either going to put a light up in the attic for a little potted plant or plant some in an empty lot a bit of the ways away from my home.

Howdy seeker,

If you're still living at home with your parents,I'd suggest that you grow in the lot down the street. The attic,would probably be too hot or too cold,and it would be difficult for yoo to be able to control the attic enviroment. Growing in a vacant lot is risky too..especially if folks see ya coming and going,there's always someone watching,except maybe late at night.

i am still looking for florida growers i can chat with, learn form and such. it doesnt really get cold here but once or twice a year and never mor than a week id say.

Wow ! You're in Jupiter ? My daughter,lives in Port St. Lucie,my brother in Jax,my mother-in-law,use to live in Jupiter..small world ,huh ? lol

There are several folks here,from Florida..hopefully,they'll find their way to this thread,posting a thread,in the Florida State local forum,may yield quicker results.

hello i live in florida but dont know alot about growing that would be great if some one could help me out to.
there is a lot that is about like 100 akers of land. and it is wooded and like sould i put it in a pot or just plant it and let it grow wild.

the attic in s fl will easily reach 150+ degrees. no plant can survive in that with all the ventilation in the world. outdoors sucks and you probably wont be the one harvesting your plants. if its mom and dads house, forget it.

im not to sure on a stain but i can give u some advise(sp?) just ask me what u need to know im planning on a grow this spring aswell i live in NW florida in the panhandle
the grow will be about 40 miles from the alabama line(getting far away from my house and i have an exuse to be in the area)so ask away and if i dont know ill look it up since im sure i need to know aswell
