So the president or Iraq wants one or two more years isnt that what they said two years ago?In two years time they will want another two years and so on.That country will never be stable until the U.S gets out.

These people were just elected in two years ago and it took longer for cabinet positions to be filled. They have NEVER stated any "timeline" up until recent.

I find the original post of this thread highly exagerated, pretty much rediculous really, and sadly lacking in citation. That being said...

Wow i guess we all forgot about the 5000 people he killed with gas. Or the many people he executed just for opposing his rule.

I don't even understand this reasoning man. This, as opposed to, say..... hundreds of thousands of people? Saddam was an evil son of a bitch with evil intentions, thus several thousand people dead. Now we have questionable leaders, with good (albeit foolish) intentions, and we have HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS dead. How did we save all those lives again? (maybe when the forces of saddam invaded America and slaughtered us all).

And woopty doo about everyone killed in iraq, what about all the drive bys and people killed by drunk drivers every day?
