We'll I woz getting a puff before the walk over to my buddies place, for a christmass hoot, and my moms all like. "why is the incense upstiars" BLah blah and she deduced that i had smoked up.

SO then i got the "you ruined christmass with your smoking up" speel. So now sinse she bitched at me i didnt end up goign to my buddies, i would have only been there roughly an hour then go to my aunts, for christmass dinner.

Lol we'll i reacted by telling her she ruined christmas by being ignorent, close minded pareent who lets pride rule her life. (though i have an ego myself)
How do you people deal with your rents or ppl u care about being so rude to you?


She was calling me dopehead. Like it woz an insult. Man she has some phychological problems. And when i do anything she wouldnt do it's like im being a let down, wtf is this about?

I know what you're talking about man. I can see where she is coming from though. She doesn't want you smoking at Christmas because it's a family thing and she doesn't want you being in an "altered state of mind." Don't get me wrong, I smoke all the time, but I haven't smoked for the last 2 days just because I've been with the family and what-not. I know what you're saying, but don't be too mad at her man. She's just trying to be a mom, which I imagine is a pretty hard job heh. Well Merry Christmas anyway man. Hopefully it gets better for you. Peace~

Man,I'm only 20 but its still old enough to be able to look back on when I was in high school and shit...

You really need to respect your folks, even if you don't agree with them. I'm pretty sure that you don't, so I'll give ya 2 tips...

1) Respectfully disagree and undertake an intelligent conversation. The key qualitifier here is intelligent.

2) If they don't want something in their house, they have that perogative. Keep it low profile and out of sight.

I'm not going to argue with anyone of those, but I think the majority of ya'all we'll get it.

i agree parents do flip at the smallest thing on xmas day it happened to me today for not knowing how many people were coming round today!?!?!

Personally i wouldnt have been caught that way. I made sure i had a SAFE way to smoke in my room. I tell my mom that insense calms me down so i burn it 24/7. My dad buys me all of it. He imports it from Japan and each box comes with 150 sticks. Just tell your mom that is the way you want your room to smell. Just keep some up there all the time. Yeah i recognize. I am twenty and i've lived on my own, but man i hate hearing it from her, she says it with such distain. It's wot i get constantly. I havnt been able to live out on my own recently because im jobless .

I was juts going for a hit or to, to get a buzz started, i wanted to celebrate with a pal. I wasnt gogin to the family due baked, and i told her that.

Things are ok now, but man it's so sudden sometimes, and ive just never been able to handle it. Wot im being the bitch by letting her go on about it. I don't get to have my word put in unless i interrpurt or yell it like some kid. Normally i'm pretty chill and i get along with people, and we've been getting along quite a bit better this past yr.

I came on hot headed. But damn, i shouldnt have to feel guilty about it like she' wants me to. I can see where she's commming form, i just always wanted her to be above those kinds of things.
