Menstrual Blood as fertilizer?

I can't see any reason, apart from the 'eewww gross' factor, not to use menstrual blood. I'd be more inclined to look at adding it to the compost rather than using it directly.

Has anyone done this before? Results? And as far as application, should it be dilluted and applied during a regular watering? I think that using it for fertilizer in your pot would bring new meaning to the word "Bloody Mary"....It's one of those things that it just sounds gross to think about. Let us know how it goes though Bro.
