hey man I know how it goes...been feeling your pain for a while here...been trying all sorta of at home remedies and topical solutions...and finally found the closest thing to a CURE, yes a CURE. Ever heard of vitamin B5? also known as pantothenic acid.. Check out this study down by a doctor about it curing acne...here. This still isnt well known to the open public which I'm not surprised since big companys are making billions a year off of temporary solutions for acne. It is hard to find around your area but easy to find online. Anyways the study says to take up to 10grams a day for the first two months and than bring it down to about 1-2 grams. 10grams a day is alot...about 20 pills if they are 500milligrams each, but I'm use to it and is not a problem. This vitamin also comes in powder form so you could just pour it all in a cup of water and drink it down. What this vitamin does is hits the problem at the core breaking down all the extra fat lipids your body isnt able to break up which results in acne. I've been taking 10grams a day for little over a month now and havnt had results like this ever...my face stopped getting oily and feels dry all the time, marks on my face are able to heal, its a nice thing. I also use acne free on my face twice a day just to speed up the healing process. This viatmin is better than the leading acne medicine, accutane, which has alot of horrible side effects and doesnt actually hit the problem at the core as B5(pantothenic acid) does. GOOGLE.COM search about this vitamin and read alot of the success storys out there. Good luck with everything and please give this vitamin a try, its the best cure we got so far and probably ever!

Im not an expert on acne and skin care but I think that its better to alternate between Benzyl peroxide and salicylic acid to keep the acne population down.
Generally, 1 in every 1,000,000 cells undergoes mutations that allow it to resist certain drugs. So if you use two drugs at the same time, it becomes 1 in every 1,000,000,000,000 cells that becomes resistant to both. I know that this is true for antibiotics but i dont know if it still stands for those medicated soaps. Maybe birdgirl can rain some knowledge on this.

Yes, quite sure. I have a good dermatologist who call tell the difference, and I can too. What I control with Proactiv is definitely acne, not the redness of rosacea.
