Ca difficiency with egg shells?
Last year I crushed up egg shells really fine and left them in water, at the time I thought they would help deal with ph issues, but would spraying this provide calcium that is able to be absorbed by the plant?

The calcium in egg shells has only a limited solubility. CalMag is the way to go, just water it in with your fertilizer.
Or use bone meal in your soil mix, but be aware that a) it is not instant and b) careful not to overdo it and end up locking other stuff out.
I do not know if Calcium is something that can effectively be fed using a foliar. hmmm there's a good Q.
