White v. Yellow smoke

I like the stale smoke theory, but i dunno ive seen it before usually in gravity bongs or waterfalls not really sure what it is but it seems to be in large amounts of smoke.

I know what your talking about. that happens when I take massive rips. I have had a really SLIGHT tint of yellow before, nothing serious.

and if anyone is thinking of it being laced then your wrong. it just happens. dont worry about it bro. just dont try and take massive rips. they are sweet but you cough like hell

iv had yellow smoke pulling gravities with some kb.. had it with mids also though too.. sometimes with steamies.. it got you sooooo high like my one friend was running around my house chasing me and my friends.. it was crazy lol.. but i just think there's SOOOOO much smoke in there it just turns a yellowish color

i have never seen yellow smoke and i have a pipe that is basically impossible to clean, and it holds a decent amount in it if you dont clear it, so it is easy to get stale. i can get it concentrated in there very easily by hitting it hard with the carb totally sealed. never once have i seen yellow smoke. im not calling any of you liars, im just saying it isnt something that happens any time you hit a dirty pipe, hit stale smoke, or take a big concentrated rip.

Most likely cause your hitting a pipe, if you ever hit a clear bong or waterfall or whatever you see the smoke gets so dense it turns yellow

Ok i think i know this one, as the smoke gets older it turns kind of yellowish/brown color that indicates "stale" smoke, but its just kinda old.

nailed it.. in my expirence this is the case. like when you take a hit off a longer bong you'll notice smoke turn a yellowish tint

I first noticed it with waterfalls and later on with pipes and bubblers. It seems like green, fresh hits give a nice white smoke, but if you're hitting a lot of already burned bud, the smoke that comes out will be yellowish. The way you hit your pipe will affect how much yellow smoke you get.

Wow, OK, so at least people know what I'm talking about ^^'

I never got completely solid yellow smoke, but when I take a big rip or hit my gravity bong, it gets tinged yellow. And yea, makes me cough more.

That idea of the tar building up, that seems like it'd make sense. More tar in the same area is probably why it colors.

Now, the question, does higher quality buds have less tar? That would be how to achieve huge hits that are pure white, which is what I want :jointsmile:
