There we go, solid information! That's definately really disappointing when a politician supports the war that much for that long then just changes with the flow. One could argue that in a democratic society leadership opinions should reflect public opinion, including when it changes, but outright bashing the administration for something they previously supported themselves is just downright hypocritical. And I agree with you 100%, wishy washy politicians can't be trusted when their opinion is so flexible as to change on the fly without taking accountability for an initial stance.

I would also like to say though, that terror is not the only issue someone should be focused on. I know that's a no-brainer, but some of the guys (particularily republicans) can't seem to talk about anything but terror 90% of the time. When did improving quality of life for your own citizens take second place as an important issue?
