volcano temp setting question

ive noticed that when im done vaping my bowls on 6.5.. if i combine like 5 bowls of vaped weed (done at 6.5 to finish) and i set the volcano to like 8.0 i get a nice few bags... is this just releasing bad chemicals at this high a temp?

One of my friends has the Volcano vaporizer. He's only used it a few times, once with me, and he's actually selling it to me for about $50 cheaper than what they are on the market.

The first time he heats up a bowl, he heats it up at 5. Second time, 7. Third time, 9. He gets great use out of his bud this way. I would suggest doing it this way and see how things work out for you.

Also, you mention something about "bad chemicals" being released. If you're using a Volcano vaporizer, then the technology is designed to eliminate bad chemicals, odors, etc. Pretty much what you're getting is fresh oxygen mixed with fresh and pure THC for inhalation.

Good question skrunched. I've never moved mine off 5.5 so I guess I need to fuck with it a little to see what it will do.

Yeah def turn it up a few everytime... do what works for you... but yeah at 9 you are getting THC but just not a high percentage of it.

Most efficient way IMO to use a volcano is grind up weed as finely as possible pack tiny bowls that just barely fill the bottom of the screen and put it around the 6.5 range and just do one bowl. It turns grams into ounces. Except its more like 1 gram into like 2

I don't think it makes any sense that you would have to turn it up...the whole point is that you have the heat setting at the point of vaporization. You can see in the manual where the temperature points are. (http://www.storz-bickel.com/pics/dow...ur%20table.pdf) I recommend leaving it at the set point and vaporizing it a few times until there is no more vapor coming out. Use the rest for making food.
