    Does eating lower your high?

Was smoking with a friend of mine the other day and he said he thinks eating while high can actually cause you to come down faster. Any truth in this?

Think about it, eating gives you a natural high, so wouldn't you just be getting higher?

for me it does a little. because when i get the munchies i go all out. i eat like it's my last dinner for months. and because of that, my body has a hard time digesting all the food, and i think it requires more 'attention' from my internal processes than if i were just high and hungry. so it sorta brings me back to earth a little.
but i'm envious of the people who it doesn't affect.. grr...
