So im guessing just about everybody here has heard about clemens FINALLY giving his decision to go to the highest bidder (New York Yankees) and he is also making 28 MILLION dollars for about roughly 20 starts. On sportscenter they had a chart showing how much he makes a minute, hour, day and month and that motherfucker is making 102 dollars a minute and 6,000 an hour. Does anybody else find this to be completely ridiculous??????

he only went like 8-7 last year so probly overpaying but hes the best pitcher IVE ever seen being born in 1985 so i guess i hafta say hes earned it...the fact that mofo wont go on road trips with every other teammate is pretty fucked up- my respect def went down when he started to do that

clemens is a piece of shit. im glad steinbrenner blew millions of dollars on yet another incredibly shert term solution to a long term problem. they havent won since they started just trying to buy every all star in the league. back when they were winning world series they had some actualy yankee veterans and good young players, it wasnt a team full of mercenaries. the best part is boston is going to have such a big lead on the division by the end of the season even if clemens wins every game he starts it wont make a difference and they will be lucky to get the wild card. clemens is an asshole going about it this way two years in a row, but shit people keep paying mega bank for him pitching half a season so who can blame him

Yes this is a VERY good point and just indicates that Steinbrenner is losing his everloving MARBLES. He and his new minion Roger should have a joint retirement party and go live in the Caribbean and stroke each others egos....
