It is so stupid how she's only getting 45 days. Any 'normal' person would be in a lot more trouble for their second DUI. Plus, this woman is so incredibly stupid. Like that dude said above, why doesn't she just hire a designated driver?

It pisses me off how rich people commit crimes, and get away with it. This happens so often, and it's bullshit. And yet a poor drug addict trying to clean his life up could get sentenced long-term jail time for past crimes, but can't get out of it because of his financial status. Then when he goes to prison, his efforts to clean his life up are smashed, and he is then put back into the cycle of poverty. Our system does nothing! It doesn't teach anyone a lesson!

Famous people should not get special treatment--they should go through what everyone else has to when they break that law and get caught. Their fame doesn't make them special in a humane way, they're just like everyone else, except rich and powerful. But they're still human, and should be treated just like everyone else regardless. If a poor black man has to spend 6 months in prison for DUI, then so should a rich, famous woman who lacks any sort of common sense.

I like how she said she "doesn't deserve this." But then if she saw some poor person driving drunk she'd probably call the cops on them.

Now realize that when I say our system is bullshit, and then go on to say that everyone should have to do the time regardless of financial status or race, I'm not contradicting myself, I'm simply saying that everyone should be treated equally--even if the system doesn't work.
