The thing that worries me is that Bob as admitted this friend is far from the smartes man he has meet. He doesn't sound very responsible either considering he only does seasonal work while having to raise a child. Assuming there isn't something else going on, like medical problems, he seems like the kind of person who will be easily busted. Unless Bob plans on being the smart partner in this buisness venture, I think his friend is setting himself up for failure. If he is part of it, he may risk the friend doing something stupid and getting them both aressted.

I understand he is a good friend and he needs to be loyal, but I think the best option is to try and convince "C" it is a bad idea.
