    femenizing seeds Question

When would one spray the giberallic acid on the branches to shock a female branch male, obviously it would be after one can tell that it is for sure female, but is it right after it is sexed or do you wait a little bit?

    femenizing seeds Question

    Exodus,
That isn't a method that the home grower should bother messing with.
If you treat a plant with GA, you can't smoke ANY part of it. Or make hash... or cook... you have to throw it away.
Your average hobby grower should stick to other methods of forcing hermaphrodite parts. Reliable ones include messing with the photoperiod, heat stressing yoru plants, and letting them over-ripen by a couple weeks.

If you know what you are doing and don't intend to use a GA-reversed plant for anything other than a source of pollen, you will see for sure when it grows male parts and it will look like any other hermaphrodite.

Seriously though, stressing with photoperiod is safest... put a cou0ple layers of paper bag over a branch and take it off sometimes... shine a bright flashlight up in there during the dark time once in a while... take it off and put it back on again whenever you think of it during the light time... just really mess with it.

    femenizing seeds Question

It was a friend of mine who wanted to guarantee femnized seeds, for future outdoor use. His plant didn't end up turning out how he'd like so he may consider doing it. I didn't realize it would ruin a whole plant, I will make sure to let him know.
Would stressing a clone for pollen be a better way to keep from ruining a whole plant, and guarantee femenized seeds? thank you so much for your help, and jah bless.

Yes, absolutely. You can then collect the pollen and mix it with flour, and keep it cold and very dry for future use. Just a little will give you all the seeds you can ever want!

Great tip stinkyattic thank you - added to my own internal weed chalkboard of great ideas. Such a simple desiccant

I hope everyone will discuss this some more.
Back to the original post. So how exactly do you apply the g. a. to work its majik on the plant ? spray on a particular branch , or mix in with the watering schedule. thanks:thumbsup:
I want to share something with you: The three little sentences that will get you through life. Number 1: Cover for me. Number 2: Oh, good idea, Boss! Number 3: It was like that when I got here.
I\'m not a bad guy! I work hard, and I love my kids. So why should I spend half my Sunday hearing about how I\'m going to Hell?

bullshit, Gibberlic Acid is VERY TOXIC ... my mind is made up, don't confuse me with the Facts ... do NOT use Gibberlic Acid ... you have to remember there are very impressionable minds here, and some people just cannot follow directions, and will poison themselves ... seriously ... :smokin:
(I can pull up reams of 'scientific evidence' that marijuana will make you insane, and put you on a murderous rampage ... does that make it correct?) ... if I seem harsh, it's because I would prefer to err on the side of safe practices ... :smokin:

Seems like the best policy to me. That is if you value your life and the lives of those around you. But I'm not qualified to get in on this debate.

    femenizing seeds Question

Instead of using GA it is much more simple to fuck with the lights shocking the plant. Go in a couple times a week and briefly turn on the lights in the dark cycle. I acheived female seeds this way and none of the seed stock I produced had any type of hermie characteristics at all.
