First off, do you have a LEGIT medical problem? If so, get a copy of your medical records. Next go to-

215physicians.html

Pick a doctor, make the appointment, take in your records, and get "California legal". Unless you want to go to the clubs, a card is NOT needed. A copy of your recommendation is ALL you need!

If you really want to go to the clubs you will need to get DHS 9042 (4/05). All the info you need is there.

Frankly, I don't want a card! I don't trust our local government not to tell the feds who is on the list! The fewer who know that you use, the safer you are (from the cops and rippers both)!

Keep within the limits if you grow. Local cops have been busting "over-enthusiastic" med growers. Granny has a "well-lit" closet that gives me all I need. (Some CFLs, some tube fluoros and some 19 gallon tubs (Walmart-$4) and I'm set!) You can have 6 mature plants (or more if the doctor says so). Home grown ROCKS! Good luck- Granny:hippy:

same way i feel; i haven't gotten "the card" yet now that i have my med cert. from the doc, and i don't think i want to for this very reason; i wonder if i'm doing the right thing though; if i went to co-ops all the time i might need a card for that or in case i get stopped with weed in the car, but i intend to grow, and i don't want anyone knowing that doensn't have to; plus my doc give a letter and a little "pasport" wallet thing as well, which if nothing else is nice to have with you easily

I just read that the California legislature or whatever Board is in charge of MMJ just did away with the registry and the cards because of privacy issues.
