I just saw a high speed chase in person.

I was on the southshore and was sitting at a red light waiting to make a U-turn, when I hear sirens. I see car weaving in and out of traffic with a cop car right on his ass. Than about 15 seconds later an unmarked car and a patrol car zoom past with their lights on. Than the light turned green and I had to wait for about 8 more cars, somewhat spaced out due to traffic, fly by.

Prob not a very interesting story, but I have always wanted to see one in person. I also would love to get in one. If I knew I only had a 10 days to live, running from the cops would be one of them. I also would live to do a ride along while a cop was chasing someone. Both would be exciting as hell.

    He wasn't doing bad.

He only had that one car close to him, the rest were having trouble getting through traffic. They were a bit further back.

i was making my way down to Austin and saw a guy that must've just gotten pulled over in a mustang with 5 or 6 cops walking up to the car, guns drawn. must've done pretty good since he was about half-way between dallas and waco and there's practically nothing between the two cities lol.

I had a friend outrun a cop in a jeep on his kawasaki ninja. We videotaped some of it when he went flying by us, followed by a cop like 5 seconds later. He SAID he was pushing 130 on that damn thing o.O

i have been in one, i was in the back seat of a 240sx... i've told the story here countless times... i'm not gonna lie, it was fun as hell, looking back on it after being unharmed of course.... but durring the thing there's like a bowling ball sized feeling of dread that is just purely sickening, constantly churning in your stomach....

there's only two ways a chase really ends... a crash, or they pull over. this guy wasn't gonna pull over (i even told him to do so multiple times) so i knew there was going to be a wreck... and when you're going 120+ mph on dark ass 2 lane back roads... it doesn't look like it'll end well...

and it didn't, none of us were really hurt (i didn't even have a seatbelt on... all that happened to me was my knees knocked together, my brother bumped his head on the first flip, didn't even leave a knot) but he tried to take a 90 degree turn onto a 2 lane feeder road at around 120... the rear slung out further, and everything went to shit when the wheels hit the grass, it almost looked like we might make it, until the tires hit grass.... car slammed into the ditch and flipped 2 1/2 times, landing upside down...

me and my bro didn't go to jail tho...

oh i left out alot of the details... that lil car had all four tires off the ground at one point (we jumped a really steep set of railroad tracks), and at the same time, was inches away from tboning the front end of this undercover car (that wasn't even aware of what was going on, it was a complete coincedence)

the trooper also wasn't even trying to pull us over (the car was stolen, we just didn't know she hadn't reported it yet) we saw lights, he took off.... he was actually trying to pull the only other car on the road within a 1/4 mile over (it was like 2 in the morning or something)

There is no more thrill on this earth than to run and get away from the cops. I used to steal cars from 7/11 when it was real cold out and people would leave their car running while they were inside and go get into car chases with the cops. Been in about 25 chases and never been caught for one although I got snitched off after a chase once but, they never caught me in the car.
There is no bigger asshole on the road than that fool running the cops who does not give a shit about anyone or anything, I know this first hand.
In my last chase in 92 back in New York, a bunch of real people {Innocents} and some cops {Heroes my ass} got really hurt in the wrecks they were in behind me as I got away. I was high on heroin and not going down without a fight and got away even though I got snitched off by my so called friend in the passenger seat.
The cops did not believe him but they knew he was not driving because he pissed all over himself and the seat which was all the evidence they needed not to prosecute him for the chase.
If you want to take the chance of killing yourself and everyone around you, go ahead and get in a chase.
Alonso is dead because of his last car chase, the cop shot him in the face to save his own ass and Alonso is dead. "But we got high" is on Alonso's tomb stone.
Car chases aint too smart and I won't do what I used to do anymore, life is too good to waste behind bars or dead.
