I heard from a couple friends today that the sidekick was a chicks phone, i think it looks pretty cool and is sweet how it flips up. what do you guys think? also what about the envy, the phone from verizon i was thinking about getting. keyboard is nice but i still like flip phones. any thoughts? im looking to get a good phone from verizon when i switch from cingular this summer, i text alot but im straight with T9. looking for something cool (keep in mind im not getting the sidekick Rating: 5

I had the sidekick 1 and 2. A couple of them because they would either get stolen or i drop them in water. But hey when i had them i got a lot of dates. People love to play with those things.

But be warned, your social life will increase so much that you actually stop having one because you will be talking to all of your other friends on various mediums when you are hanging out with your friends in the real world.

For real. I've seen it happen a few times. Anyways I kind of think it's a chick phone, but it's more or less for everyone, leaning towards the chick side.

i think girls text guys alot and girls text girls alot... i dunno many guys who text other guys as much as girls.

the only time i text guys is when im looking for a sack or in class making plans for out of class.

Drop kick! LOL Well, you guys crack me up sometimes...well, lots of the time. Good shit...and I'm stoned. Well, anyway, no a SK is not a chick phone. Like SW said, it's too big to be a chick phone. I mean, chicks have them, but the phone is much too large to keep on their waist or even in their teeny itsy bitsy purses. I think it became viewed as a girlie phone when that whole "P. Hilton's SK was hacked" thing came out a while back. That, and because most of the accessories are girlie.

On the subject of texting however, I'd tend to agree that not very many guys text back and forth between eachother as much as girls & girls or girls & guys do. I mean, when they do...it's usually very short, eh? Then just call! LOL

i think it's ridiculous to say a phone is a chicks phone... unless like, it's hot pink with barbie written on it, or some novelty phone modeled after something obviously girly....

If I saw a phone, straight from the manufacturer (sp), with BARBIE written on it, I would deffinatly buy it. The phone would have to be super good.. And the name would have to be "Superphone - Barbie".
