since i am new to this this is only info i grabbed somewhere else, it does take less light for vegative than for flowering, you dont need the 40 or 50 watts per sq ft like flowering, since you wont be changing the light schedual in either box you could have new and older clones next to each other. same in the flowerbox. switch them out and get a continual harvest. it would be good to have a couple of extra clones if something happens to one of them. 3 moms seems like overkill if you are only growing out 3 plants, unless you were to sell the extra clones you would get, or give them away.just my opinion though. older , bigger clones would produce more faster as you put them into flower.
twoguysupnorth Reviewed by twoguysupnorth on . flowering/vegging wattage? ok, here's the question: ideally, if you're going to be using X amount of wattage total, how much would you put in your flowering room and how much in veg? 50/50 75 flower / 25% veg? in my case, i'll be using a 250w hps for flowering, so i'm trying to figure out what might be right for vegging, what would make sense? the question is basically this: where is power more valuable? in vegging or in flowering? and if i guess right that it's more valuable in flowering, how much more?
