dunno the efficacy of this.. but I read somewhere that herbal teas for medicinal use don't really work unless steeped for at least 6hrs. last night I left in a coffee pot some tea bags and filled the coffee maker with water and left it on over night, steeping all the bags for about 8 hrs at a good hot temperature without it evaporating much.

you put water???? the thc needs fat to bond to. did it work?...
I am a pathalogical liar. Nothing I say is real, I only do it out of attention seeking motives. Well, that what the doctor said. I take medication for it......:S1: Or do I?

actually I tried this with a bunch of weed leaves that basically had no thc, but I did get a weird effect. my eyes would be like extra sensitive to light and so light stayed on my lenses or something even when I closed my eyes.. it was really weird.. probably the cure for glaucoma there.. and also felt very light headed. might also be because I made the tea with 2-3 grams of these leaves so w/e..
Im thinking another way to do this is to first decarb in the oven, then boil for one hr straight in water.. perhaps thethc would free float in the water.. Im going to try it one day.

another method for getting medicinal components out of herbs:
boil for 10 minutes, steep for 10-12 hours, re-heat to scalding, strain and refrigerate.
now I dont know if steeping means to steep it as in regular tea and let it get cold.. or to steep in warm water, which is what the coffee pot is used for.

ie to steep it in continuously hot water as a coffee pot would keep the coffee drink in the pot..
